How much does CareCircle Family cost?
CareCircle Family is free for families. There are no family plan tiers to compare and no card is needed to get started.
Is my family's information private?
Circle records are shared by invitation and according to each person's role, not automatically with every member. Sensitive areas have additional restrictions. Access is checked at the database on every read and write; the Privacy Policy explains service-provider and authorised support access.
Who can join my Circle?
The Circle Owner can invite family members, friends and people helping with care, choose their roles and remove access. Being invited does not give access to every record.
What are the different roles?
Owner manages the Circle and its members. Family members and Primary carers coordinate shared care information. Friend / helper can help with tasks without access to medication records, documents, finances or Memories. Professional / carer has time-limited access to categories the owner shares, not finances, legal documents or Memories. View only can read permitted shared information without editing. My Circle (loved one) is the simpler experience for the person receiving care. Private Wishes remain private unless their author shares them.
How do Today, Catch Me Up and Ask CC fit together?
Today shows what matters now. Catch Me Up is your quick handover of what changed since you last checked, with dates and links to saved records. Tasks shows what needs doing and who owns it; Timeline records what happened; Care Vault keeps important information together. Ask CC retrieves answers from saved Circle information your role can see, not medical advice.
Is CareCircle Family medical software?
No. CareCircle Family is organisational software. It helps families record and share information, but it does not provide medical, legal or financial advice, diagnosis or emergency services. If someone needs urgent medical help, contact the appropriate emergency or healthcare service.
Can I keep documents in CareCircle Family?
Yes. Documents are stored in private storage and are never available at a public address. When you open one, CareCircle Family creates a short-lived secure link just for you.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from More → Your account → Delete my account. If you own a Circle, choose whether to transfer ownership or delete it. Shared history may remain for other members without your account attached; the Privacy Policy explains the details.
Can I use CareCircle Family for more than one person?
Yes. You can be part of more than one Circle — for example, if you're helping to care for more than one relative.
Does CareCircle Family work offline, and will I get notifications?
A connection is needed to load current Circle information. The in-app notification centre shows relevant updates. On supported phones with permission, on-device reminders cover upcoming appointments, your own due tasks and document follow-ups from records you can see. Scheduled reminders can appear while the app is closed, but new or changed records need to be loaded in the app. These are not email or SMS reminders, and delivery is not guaranteed; they are not an emergency service.
Does it cost anything to invite people to my Circle?
No. Inviting family members and other helpers to your Circle is free.
What does CareCircle Family do with medication information?
CareCircle Family helps families keep a record of medicines and routines. It's a record-keeping tool, not a clinical one — always follow instructions from the prescribing healthcare professional.
